Summary: This is a story about true love between humans and Leo, a paraplegic stray dog. Meagan Penman, a canadian model, discovered Leo wandering a Thai beach. She knew that she couldn't let the handicapped dog without any help. Yet, Meagan didn't have time or money to take care for him and she didn't know anyone in Thailand because she was on a working trip. The Canadian created a Facebook page for public donation. A lot of people helped them, and she could pay medical treatment to the dog. A veterinarian diagnose that Leo's spine had been completely broken and he treated him legs. Three months later, Meagan with the internet surfer's help, raised enough monet to take Leo to Canada. Now Leo can walk with a K9 Carts wheelchair.
Personal opinion: This news attract my attention because it's full of hope and self-improvement. I think that everyone (dogs, cats, cockroaches...) deserves a second chance and the basic right of live. In my opinion Leo is a lucky dog that had this second chance, unfortunately a lot of dogs ends him life on a dog's pound. There's too many dogs in the world, every child want a puppy and when the dog grow up he gets tired of him and the family abandon the animal on a highway road to the country. They don't deserve that ending. So my opinion is that more people should take note to Meagan's example.
